Armed robbery at Three Bridges Tesco
Police are appealing for witnesses to an armed robbery of a security van at the Tesco store in Three Bridges this afternoon (Friday June 29).
Police were called to the store at 12.13pm where the van was delivering money to the cash machine.
The suspect threatened the driver with what is thought to be a hand gun. He was forced to hand over a substantial amount of cash. However, the offender dropped the money and then made off from the scene empty-handed.
The suspect was riding a motocross style trial bike and headed in the direction of the footpath to St Mary's Drive.
