Artist exhibits solo for first time
EMPTY offices have been converted into a temporary exhibition space for a Crowborough photographer to stage his first show.
Andrew Newson, of Tolwood Park, Crowborough, snapped up the opportunity to show his work after having a discussion with the landlord of the property, Master Transcriptions – Studio on the Common, at the Pantiles.

He said: "It's my first solo show, quite exciting and quite scary at the same time."
Mr Newson will be exhibiting a number of different sets of his photos, including studies of seaside towns, Dungeness (Nuclear Town) and female nudes.
He said: "My pictures have always got, I like to think, a certain feeling to them. I always try to create an emotion."
The exhibition at Master Transcriptions – Studio on the Common, The Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells, will run until April 26. Entry is free and copies, including limited edition prints, of the photos will be available to buy.
