Ed Miliband calls on immigrants to learn to speak English
Ed Miliband has paid a flying visit to Crawley - and told a crowd of supporters and curious shoppers that if immigrants come to Britian they should learn to speak English.
The Labour leader also admitted that the previous Labour government had made mistakes when it came to immigration.
While standing on a wooden pallet he told a crowd in Queens Square: “We did not get it right on immigration in the past.
“If you come to this country, you should learn English.”
