Police have released this image of Megan and Jeremy on a ferry on Thursday evening
When she did not turn up at school the next day, she was reported missing and the search for her began.
Chief Inspector Jason Tingley said: "We are releasing this photo to show Megan and Jeremy's appearance at the time they travelled to France as we believe it will improve the public's ability to recognise the pair together.

"Although they entered France, it is possible that they are elsewhere now. Therefore our objectives are to identify where they are and for them to contact us, so we can bring Megan home safely.
It has emerged that an investigation into the relationship between 15-year-old Megan and her maths teacher, Jeremy Forrest, 30, was already underway before they left for France.
Concerns were raised after a school trip to Los Angeles earlier this year.
It has also emerged that there was another serious incident involving a teacher and a pupil at the Bishop Bell C of E School in 2009 as well as two other in the last three years.
In 2009, Robert Healy, then aged 27, was jailed for seven years for grooming two children from the school and having sex with one of them three or four times at her father's house.
Ch Insp Tingley added: "We are working with Interpol, a dedicated liaison officer in France and the French Missing Persons Bureau, as well as other law enforcement agencies in Europe.
"At this time our foreign liaison is focussed on raising awareness of the pair and gathering information about where they could be. We have the ability to request other support and resources from the European authorities when the need arises.
"On an enquiry like this, there will always be reports of unconfirmed sightings, which we will follow up. We will not comment on speculation about locations, but with public awareness being a key factor in this enquiry, we will publicise confirmed sightings.
"We would like to thank the public and media for their assistance. We are particularly grateful for the efforts of the international media in raising awareness about the pair abroad. Our primary concern is still to find Megan and Jeremy safe and well."
There have been no reported sightings of Megan or Mr Forrest since the pictures taken on Thursday night.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Megan and Jeremy or who sees the black Ford Fiesta car they are believed to be travelling in, should call Sussex Police on 00441273 475432 or text +447786208090.
