Super Serendib claim Cup
A SUPERB batting display from Serendib saw them lift the West Sussex Invitation League Sunday Cup in a thrilling game.
Rain meant the game was reduced to just 30 overs per side but it was Azam Riyard's side who coped better with the change of conditions as they built a monster score.
Fazlan Nizamdeen and Samson Burke both hit 50s while there was also a useful contribution from Silme Ikram as Serendib finished on 192-8 from their allocation.
In reply, Sam Lowther hit a stunning 73 but Burke, Rilwan Razak, Nazoomi Azhar and Ali Khan all took wickets as they held on to win by seven runs.
