Crawley man in court accused of causing death by dangerous driving

A MAN has appeared in court charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

Lee Andrew Mott, 25, of Banks Road, Pound Hill, appeared before Crawley Magistrates' Court last Thursday (July 2) and entered no plea to the charge.

The charges relate to a crash which took place in Worth Road, Pound Hill, on December 12 last year.

Pensioner Winifred Wilson, 82, died after she was hit by a car when crossing the road.

Mott was released on unconditional bail and will appear at Lewes Crown Court on October 16.
