Nudist wants naked bike ride in Crawley

Nina Turner, 35, told the News she would love to see the town centre packed with scantily clad cyclists next summer.
The World Naked Bike Ride sees thousands of campaigners take to the streets every year to protest against oil dependency and car culture and to celebrate bikes and the human body.
More than 50 cities worldwide hold the event, and Miss Turner, who is in training for next year's ride, is determined to add Crawley to the list.
The single mother-of-one, from Pound Hill, said: "If I knew I wouldn't get arrested I would feel totally comfortable walking down Crawley High Street in the nude. I would love to see the World Naked Bike Ride come to Crawley next year. Why not? My daughter thinks I'm weird but all teenagers think that of their parents."
Miss Turner, who has a 15-year-old daughter, Sarah, has previously visited a nudist beach in Eastbourne and attended nudist parties in the Crawley area.
Miss Turner, of Milton Mount, added: "I became a nudist after I got divorced about a year ago. It is great for confidence and saves on the washing powder! I wish I had taken it up years ago.
"I do all my housework in the nude. Nudism is not about being an exhibitionist, it is about being comfortable with who you are. "When somebody is wearing clothes we judge them on their status, but without the clothes we see them for who they really are.
"Society is so het-up about what we should look like. If you haven't tried being a nudist, why not give it a go? I would recommend it. Nudism stops hang ups. We all take life too seriously."
