Home draws for Crawley clubs in FA Cup

Crawley's three County League entrants in next season's FA Cup have all been handed home advantage after the opening rounds were drawn on Wednesday morning.

Three Bridges, Crawley Down and Oakwood will all be the hosts when the extra preliminary round takes place on August 15.

Bridges have a tricky home clash with fellow Sussex County League Division One side Chichester City United, while Division One new boys Crawley Down will host Westfield of Division Two. Oakwood welcome Kent Premier League strugglers Lordswood to Tinsley Lane.

The draw for the first qualifying round of the FA Vase has paired together Bridges and Oakwood, with the game due to be played at Bridges' Jubilee Field home on September 5.

In a quirk of fate, Crawley Down will travel to Lordswood for their tie.

The draws for the FA Cup's preliminary round and first qualifying round have also been made, along with the FA Vase second qualifying and first round proper. The permutations for Crawley's trio of participating sides are as follows:

FA Cup

Preliminary round: Oakwood or Lordswood v Whitstable Town, Croydon or Shoreham v Crawley Down or Westfield, Three Bridges or Chichester City United v AFC Totton.

First qualifying round: Oakwood or Lordswood or Whitstable Town v Carshalton Athletic, Croydon or Shoreham or Crawley Down or Westfield v Ashford Town (Mx), Three Bridges or Chichester City United or AFC Totton v Corinthian Casuals or VCD Athletic.

FA Vase

Second qualifying round: Three Bridges or Oakwood v Badshot Lea or Rye United, Bedfont or Mile Oak v Lordswood or Crawley Down.

First round: East Preston or Ash United or Tunbridge Wells v Three Bridges or Oakwood or Badshot Lea or Rye United, Bedfont or Mile Oak or Lordswood or Crawley Down v Worthing United or Haywards Heath or Shoreham.
