Crawley Town to face Brighton in pre-season

Crawley Town will host Sussex neighbours Brighton & Hove Albion as part of their pre-season friendly programme.

The Reds will meet Russell Slade's Seagulls on Friday July 24 (kick-off 7.45pm) at the Broadfield Stadium. Albion will be the second Coca Cola League One side to face Crawley in pre-season, following on from the visit of Charlton Athletic three days earlier (July 21, 7.45).

Crawley have also announced five games against local sides in pre-season, including Three Bridges and East Grinstead. These games will feature a Crawley Town XI with assistant manager Paul Raynor taking charge of the side.

Crawley's pre-season programme now runs as follows:

First team: Greenock Morton (A) Monday July 13, 7.30pm. Chelsea XI (H) Saturday July 18, 3pm. Charlton Athletic (H) Tuesday July 21, 7.45pm. Brighton & Hove Albion (H) Friday July 24, 7.45pm. Tottenham Hotspur XI (H) Wednesday August 5, 7.45pm.
