Crawley Town net midfielder Rusk

Crawley Town have signed former York City midfielder Simon Rusk on a free transfer.

Rusk becomes the fourth player to arrive at the Broadfield Stadium this week as manager Steve Evans assembles his squad for a busy pre-season programme.

The 27-year-old was a regular in the York team that just avoided relegation from the Blue Square Premier this season, but which also made it to the FA Trophy final.

He has previously played under Evans at Boston United and can also count Northwich Victoria among his former clubs.
