The Anvils have enjoyed a fabulous first season in the Sussex County League Division One, as well as making excellent progress in the cup competitions.
But Guirey claims that success this season is simply a stepping stone to bigger things, with Ryman League football the ultimate goal for the club.
He said: "We have a five year plan to get promoted, so we have another four years to achieve our aim after this.
"This season was meant to be all about survival but we have done much better than that so I'm happy and the chairman is delighted.
"The ground is almost up to Ryman standard so all we need now is a good enough team on the pitch.
Guirey admits that the success of his side has surprised even himself but puts it down to getting the right blend of youth and experience.
"Having a strong youth team is essential to our plans and I've been very pleased with the progress that players like Guy Harding have made.
"Guy is an excellent prospect at left back and has represented Sussex a few times. He has had a few problems with injuries this year but is definitely one to watch out for.
"At the other end of the scale we have Lee Butcher and Tony Reid. They have been fantastic for me and worked really well with some of the younger lads.
"Tony is such a versatile player and he has a wealth of experience in this division. Having them around has definitely helped us achieve what we have this season.
Guirey said he was keen for the club to attract more sponsors to help him sign the extra quality to go to the next level.
"It would give us the chance to strengthen the squad and give us enough cover when we have injuries. "As a manager you always want a couple of extra players but you need to have the money in place."
