Crawley clinch Sussex League crown again

Crawley ended their Sussex League season, swamping Brighton and East Grinstead in a flood of points to take the county title for the fifth successive year.

Natasha Johnson and Poppy Keenor kept up recent good form, each notching up three victories.

Federica Williamson also led home three times while the Williams sisters Sara and Zara also claimed top points.

The Crawley points total continued to rise as Keici O'Keeffe, Jason Wooldridge and Jack Payne all registered comfortable wins.

For Crawley's top swimmers the gala was a warm up for the National Championships which get underway soon.

Sophie Brooks clocked up four wins, Callum Hillicks led home three times, while Tom Rooke won his two events.
