Hillicks breaks national record
Butterfly star Callum Hillicks set another Scottish 18 years record in the 50 metres and notched a second win over 100 metres. Hillicks's third gold came at 50 metres freestyle, when he set another Senior Sussex County best mark
Sophie Brooks was at her stunning best in the physically demanding 200 metres butterfly, in which she led home for gold, shattering the Sussex senior and junior records.
In the 100 metres butterfly, the Crawley girl again swam well to take third place, and second spot in the juniors.
Federica Williamson continued her relentless pursuit of breastroke honours, on this occasion taking senior bronze medals over 100 and 200 metres distance, plus silver and bronze in the junior section.
Ben Trout swam hard to take silver at 50 metres butterfly, as did Zara Williams in freestyle where she won senior and junior silver medals.
Daisy Bond achieved a massive personal best to take bronze in the sport's longest event, the 1500 metres, a performance matched by Jack Payne at 50 metres breast, where he also added a junior silver.
To cap a fine team performance, the Williams sisters Zara and Sara, plus Williamson and Brooks, combined superbly to win the silver medal.
With Poppy Keenor and Charlie Robertson replacing Zara Williams and Williamson, the Crawley quartet took another silver in the freestyle relay.
