Kim proves to be a tough customer
The 67-year-old celebrity cleaner from How Clean is Your House has swapped rat-infested homes for the equally dirty Australian jungle, where she is appearing in I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
And her straight-talking, no-nonsense attitude has people in her home town of Crowborough believing she can go all the way and be crowned Queen of the jungle.
Janice Beale, of Eridge Drive said: "She's fun and says what she thinks. She comes over as a normal person. She deserves to win because she has had some horrendous challenges to complete."
Veronica Warren, of Millbrook Road, said: "I have gone off her a bit after saying she didn't get on with Aggie.
"But she calls a spade a spade and I thought she was very good during her trial when she was helping Katie."
Natasha Stevens, of Trebbley Road, said: "She is very entertaining. I think she is doing fantastically. She is up-front and doesn't take anything from anyone. I think she has got a good chance of winning."
And Beacon Community College students, who are glued to the programme, were particularly impressed with her efforts in the bushtucker trial with Katie Price when they needed to win stars so their teammates can eat.
During the trial both faced eating crickets, cockroaches, witchety grubs, kangaroo anus and testicles and fish eyes.
After much comedy-retching, Kim managed to eat everything, winning five out of five stars for her camp.
Beacon college student Emma Puddock, 15, said: "I thought the trial was disgusting. I didn't think she would be able to eat it all and I was quite surprised she managed it."
Kim was due to take part in her third bushtucker trial on Thursday, alongside Joe Bugner.
The fearless duo were chosen by the public to drink a cocktail of cockroach drinks to win food for their camp-mates.
I CAN'T FACE ANY MORE: Kim looks as if she has had just about enough of her exotic outback diet as Katie Price knocks up something revolting
