Take to the stage for special anniversary panto

AUDITIONS will open next week for a landmark village pantomime.

The Crawley Down Theatre Company celebrate their 20th anniversary this year and are marking the occasion with their annual pantomime.

The show, which opens in January, will be Puss in Boots.

Long-term member Ritchie Fenwick will make his debut directing the production and is eager to find talent at the auditions next week.

The 21-year-old said he is excited about taking on the challenge and said he is looking for enthusiastic actors, dancers, singers.

"If you think you who would enjoy the fun and laughter of a pantomime, then why not join in," he added.

A read through will be held at the Haven Centre on Tuesday July 7 at 8pm and auditions take place on Sunday July 12 between 2pm and 4pm, and Tuesday July 14 between 8pm and 10pm.

The performance dates will be Thursday 7th, Friday 8th, and Saturday January 9 2010.
