Two wins from three for Southgate Park
They began with a fine 73-58 win over East Grinstead last Wednesday, their top rink coming from a 24-10 triumph courtesy of Ken Bunt, Derek Offer, Peter Goode.
On Saturday they enjoyed a second victory this time beating Nutley 62-49 with Joan Wilde, Bill Wilde, Dave Smith, and Margaret Tofield notching top rink, 21-12.
But Southgate were brought back to earth at Portslade on Sunday, losing 79-49, although a top rink came from June Bunt, Ann Jones, and Bernard Clover with a 20-12 win.
