A place where fairytales are brought to life
ONCE upon a time there was a photographic studio in Crawley Down where little girls could live out their own fairytales.
And the good news for any children who love dressing up as fairies is that, that time is now.
The Enchanted Forest is part of a studio in Sandy Lane which has recently been modified to offer a bewitching new experience.
Without having to wave a wand or rub a lamp, visitors can live out a fairytale thanks to some imaginative photography and an array of sets, props and costumes.

Customers leave with a set of images which have some additions that are invisible during the sessions themselves.
These can include floating fairies, glowing orbs and lit lanterns.
Sarah Fisher, who owns the studio, said: "We have a fir woodland area with trees, spotted toadstools and a few woodland inhabitants.
"We also have a pond with a very large toadstool which is perfect for small fairies to land on and admire their reflections.
"Then we have an ivy-covered castle wall which is great for the fairies."
Although the business is mainly aimed at girls aged between three and eight, wannabe fairies of all ages are welcomed.
Mrs Fisher said: "I was fascinated by fairies when I was growing up and I think there is a little part of me that secretly believes they might really be at the bottom of the garden.
"We had a normal portrait studio for years and still do, but I had been dreaming for ages of creating somewhere that would be really believable for kids as a fairy forest.
"We tried a smaller version of the current forest just before Christmas 2011 as a temporary set-up in our normal studio, and we were booked solid.
"It was so much fun that we decided to make it permanent."
The Enchanted Forest is in the same building that Sarah and her husband Steve use for other professional photography.
She said: "Downstairs in our normal studio we do all sorts of photography such as babies, families, couples, makeover portraits and pet photography.
"Then upstairs we have The Enchanted Forest."
Mrs Fisher's next plan is to extend the range of fairytales by getting costumes and props fit for princes and princesses.
She added: "I decided to make photography my full-time job about 11 years ago. My husband was in the same position so we trained as much as we could and then set up Visual Chaos Studios."
