Garage robbers threaten worker
Police are hunting two men who held up a garage attendant at the Piltdown Service Station on the A272, near Uckfield, at 4.30pm.
They brandished knives and threatened the worker before taking about £200 in notes from the till and a "quantity of cigarettes".
They then ran from the shop, turning right towards Maresfield and disappeared from sight.
The men are both white. The first had a white hoodie with a blue and red emblem on the front, wearing a cap underneath and a green scarf over his face. He was also wearing black trousers and black shoes.
The second man was wearing a black hoodie with a black hat underneath and a black scarf, combat trousers and boots.
Det Sgt Lloyd Lewis, of Wealden CID, said: "A vehicle was not seen, but we believe the men may have had one in the immediate vicinity.
"We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the attack or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area around that time or even in the few days previously."
